News from School of Medicine Council Meeting
The AACF Council convened on February 16th 2012. The Council thanked Dean Pizzo for his support in a communiqué sent to the Chairs of the Clinical Departments and welcomed new interim representative from the ACF in Psychiatry Dr. Magdolna Dunai. Dr. Dunai succeeds Dr. Diana Adams. The broad purpose of the meeting was to identify and approve a set of important interests and suggested ways forward for the Executive Committee to pursue at an upcoming second meeting with School of Medicine leadership. Council minutes will be shared with our school-wide membership shortly.
WellConnect
The WellConnect Program is spearheaded by Dr. Laura Roberts, Chair of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, and is being jointly 
jointly sponsored by the Dept of Psychiatry and Stanford Hospital and Clinics. Dr. Lisa Post is Director of this initiative. WellConnect is both a triage service for time-sensitive evaluations and appropriate interventions, and a source of confidential referrals for residents and fellows. WellConnect provides a 24-hour house staff helpline for consultation and referral. Existing Well-Being Services will continue as a clinical resource under the WellConnect Program.
